The 2004 ICHS meeting in Granada was a huge success.

The 13^th Symposium on Infections in the Immunocompromised Host was held in late June in Granada, Spain. There were approximately 370 participants at this meeting, which was a great success. I would like to thank all of our members who participated in the meeting and Carol Kauffman, the past President, and the Program Committee for the excellent scientific program which was enjoyed by all, and I welcome the new members to our Society.
