ICHS Poster and Travel awards

Poster Awards:

All attendees of the ICHS Biennial Symposiums are eligible to submit abstracts representing their research or clinical experiences.  These abstracts are reviewed by the ICHS Abstract Review Committee, comprised of two or more ICHS International Council members.  Selected abstract presenters are invited to present their work in poster, or occasionally, oral format at the meeting.  These posters are judged by teams of two or three ICHS Council members.  Best posters in Research and Clinical categories receive awards at the conclusion of the biennial symposium.

Travel Awards:

ICHS offers a limited number of travel grants to encourage trainees and young investigators, particularly, those from low or middle income (resource limited) countries, to attend our biennial symposiums.  Up to twenty (20) Competitive Awards, as $500 travel grants and free registration for the meeting, are available in two categories: 1) trainees (students, residents, fellows) and 2) junior faculty [whose research was performed in the first three years following graduation].  The travel grants are competitive in nature, with awards being granted for top quality abstracts as determined by an ICHS selection committee.  The applications (link below)  must be accompanied by a copy of a submitted abstract in one of the approved topics AND an institutional letter indicating that the applicant is / was performing research in the category for which they are applying. Travel award recipients will receive their travel grants at the conclusion of the biennial symposium.  The abstract submission deadline is now July 31, 2022.  Please submit your information packets to kirkpatrick@ichs.org before August 7, 2022.
