Therefore it is worth to visit for example one of the grand museums of the Museum Island, the German Parliament with its walkable cupola which offers a magnificent 360° view over the city or the famous Brandenburg Gate – all in walking distance to the congress venue


Right next to the historic Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus you will find as wellthe Charité area, where you can take a look around the Berlin Museum of Medical History, arised from the pathological museum of Rudolf Virchow.

Also city of Robert Koch and Max Planck, Berlin is the ideal place for such an important event as the 18th Symposium on Infections in the Immunocompromised Host, to be held from 15 to 17 June 2014 in the heart of the city
