ICHS 24th BIENNIAL symposium


Poster Presenter Information & Guidelines

We are pleased to showcase your research and scholarly work as part of the ICHS Poster Sessions. Please review the important schedule, attendance expectations, and presentation guidelines below.

Poster Session Schedule

Poster presentations are organized by assigned poster number:

Friday, May 15, 2026
Posters 1–40

Saturday, May 16, 2026
Posters 41–80

Please confirm your assigned poster number in advance to ensure proper setup.

Poster numbers will also be available onsite for reference.

Presenter Attendance Requirement

Poster presenters are expected to be present at their assigned poster during the designated Poster Walk times:

  • Friday, May 15 | 2:00 – 2:45 pm

  • Saturday, May 16 | 1:15 – 2:00 pm

This dedicated time allows attendees to engage directly with authors, ask questions, and discuss findings. Your presence is essential to the success of the session.

Poster Setup & Removal

Poster presenters are responsible for printing and transporting their own posters.

Poster Size Requirements

  • Posters must not exceed 96” wide x 48” high

  • Posters must fit within the designated poster board space

Mounting & Removal Schedule

Posters 1–40 (Friday Session):

  • Must be hung on Friday morning

  • Must be removed Friday evening

Posters 41–80 (Saturday Session):

  • Must be hung on Saturday morning

  • Must be removed Saturday evening

Any posters not removed at the conclusion of the designated day will be discarded.

Poster Content Guidelines

  • Include a clearly visible Disclosure statement on your poster.

    • List all relevant disclosures.

    • If none, state: “No disclosures.”

    • Include disclosures for all co-authors, even if they are not present onsite.

  • Use large, readable fonts appropriate for viewing at a distance.

  • Keep content clear and well-organized.

  • Avoid overcrowding text, graphs, or data.

  • Use high-quality images that are royalty-free or properly cited.

Onsite Information

Poster boards will be labeled with assigned poster numbers.
Staff will be available onsite to assist with general direction and logistics.
