Webinar on Donor-Derived Infections: A Case-Based Approach

This interactive webinar will explore donor-derived infections in both solid organ transplantation and hematopoietic cell transplantation, offering dynamic content and expert insights.

Join a panel of leading experts for an engaging session featuring polling questions, expert perspectives, and innovative care strategies to enhance decision-making in donor-derived infections.

Agenda:

Current Knowledge & Best Practices – A summary of existing data in solid organ and hemopoietic cell transplantation.

Case-Based Discussions – Given the limited data, decisions are often made case by case. We will analyze real-world scenarios to discuss when to defer, when risks are acceptable, and how to respond when donor infections emerge post-transplant.

Audience-Driven Q&A – Expanding the discussion with questions submitted in advance and live inquiries during the session.

Objectives:

  • Review the current epidemiology and where to look for reliable data to rely on for our decision.
  • Identify how to make decisions through an interactive format.
  • Review where we have clear gaps, and unmet needs.
  • Discuss how we can improve knowledge in this field.

Please take advantage of these offerings which will provide you with the opportunity for future educational opportunities throughout the year.
