Welcome to the International Immunocompromised Host Society
The ICHS is the premier, international, multi-disciplinary forum
for scientific and clinical interchange to improve understanding and
management of the immunocompromised host.
Vision Statement
"To advance the understanding of the interactions between host
defenses and microbial agents in order to improve prevention and
management of human disease in patients with compromised immune
function."
Principles
To accomplish this mission, the ICHS commits its individual and
collective resources to:
· Recognize and promote excellence in all aspects of the Society
· Promote career development
· Maintain focus on patient
· Maintain the international nature of the Society
· Provide a forum that brings together clinicians and scientists
· Engage the membership
· Strive to be self-sustainable
