ICHS Symposium Abstract Submissions & Top Abstract Awards 

The Call for Abstracts for the ICHS 24^th Biennial Symposium are now open! Renowned experts of the ICHS Program Committee are preparing for a state-of-the-art scientific program that includes the most updated information about all aspects of infections and immunodeficiency. Submit your abstract to be considered for an oral or poster presentation:

Abstract Submissions

Abstracts from Early Career Level Scientists are highly encouraged and are eligible for the prestigious top abstracts awards to be presented during the Symposium program, May 14-17, 2026, in Houston, Texas, USA.

Dates:

Call for Abstracts submissions opens: October 13, 2025

Deadline for Abstract submissions: December 15, 2025

Notifications of Abstract acceptance: January 8, 2026

Notifications for Top Abstract Awards: February 1, 2026

Please note, acceptance of abstracts for the presentation or poster session does not include travel or registration support. We encourage you to review the Call for Abstracts and consider submitting an application. 

Top Abstract Awards with Travel Grant Support: 
A limited number of awards with travel grant will be offered to the highest ranked scientific abstracts as deemed by the ICHS abstract committee to Early Career scientists/researchers, medical students, residents, and fellows with accepted abstracts. The award will include a presentation during the Symposium, and includes travel coverage, hotel accommodations, and the Symposium registration fee.

Award Eligibility:

• Early Career scientists/researchers, medical students, residents, and fellows (please select the respective box when submitting an abstract in the abstract submission system)
• Abstract submission as first author
• Must be able to attend and present at the ICHS Symposium

Abstract Submission Information

The Abstract Submission System is provided below and in the online system.

• Detailed information is provided in the system. If assistance needed, please send an e-mail to admin@ichs.org

• Please carefully read the instructions before submitting your abstract through the online submission system.

• Once you sign up, you can also continue working on abstract until you finally decide to submit before the deadline.

• This is an automated system that will allow you to put the information online for the authors, affiliations, abstract text.
   You must include all authors!

• You can track the whole submission and evaluation procedure within the system.

• In case of submitting more than one abstract you can use the same login and password for each abstract.

Instructions for Online Poster and Oral Abstracts (*)

-All Abstracts should be submitted in English only. Abstracts submitted by e-mail, fax or post will NOT be accepted.

The abstracts should be structured as follows: Background, Method, Results, Conclusion.

- The abstracts must be submitted by the deadline date.

- All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee. Notification will be sent to the presenting authors on January 08, 2026.

The presenting authors must register for the Symposium and present their poster onsite.
